Other news from VIROMARKERS
We are pleased to announce that two new Deliverables:Â
- D4.2 (Study initiation package for the HDV Study)Â
- D4.3 (Study initiation package for the CMV Study)Â
have been officially approved and are available here https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101194735/results
These deliverables collect the complete documentation submitted to the relevant Ethics Committees and institutions, together with the approvals obtained, representing a key step towards the launch of two multicentre observational studies investigating innovative viral biomarkers:
- HDV study: evaluating HDV-RNA dynamics, HBsAg isoforms and viral genotypes in patients with chronic hepatitis D treated with bulevirtide.
- CMV/TTV study: investigating CMV-RNAemia, CMV-DNAemia and TTV-DNAemia kinetics in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients as potential biomarkers to optimize the management of patients at risk of CMV reactivation.
The packages also include the informed consent forms for participants, developed with the involvement of the Community Advisory Group of ELPA and EATG patient organisations.
These achievements mark important progress in the VIROMARKERS mission to advance the discovery and validation of viral biomarkers for improved patient monitoring 🔎
