IHI features VIROMARKERS in an article on hepatitis D research by Tor Vergata University 🧬
IHI has just published an article on the VIROMARKERS project, featuring the work of Prof. Valentina Svicher (University of Rome Tor Vergata) on chronic hepatitis D.
The article looks at how different forms of a key viral protein could help identify which patients are most likely to benefit from emerging treatments.
Step by step, the goal is to move towards more precise and personalised care for people living with a disease that remains challenging to manage.
